He is ruling still

Doctor (Mark 2:17)
A frontline surgeon for the soul. A doctor with the most compassionate bedside manner; combined with unparalleled skill and wisdom. The great physician; offering free care at the point of access and on call, 24/7. A healer who meets the sick where they are and ministers to his patients from cradle to grave…and beyond.

Preacher (Luke 4:18)
Spreading a contagious message of healing and hope. The words of this teacher not only speak of life, but actually bring it.

Lifegiver (John 11:25)
A life-giving Lord who grieves with all those who mourn – and takes death personally. He enters it for us, wages war on it and defeats it – rising in triumph from the dead and bringing us with him.

Priest (Hebrews 4:16)
A representative from God, who is God. He bears our names on his heart and carries us into the holiest place. He writes His name on our foreheads. He is our priest – and He makes us a kingdom of priests who carry the banner of His Name before a watching world.

Champion (1 Corinthians 15:57)
A warrior-God, thundering at the head of his army. Alone, he engages the enemy and, alone, he dies for his people. In weakness he wages war – defeating the strong; and resurrecting those who know their need of him.

Brother (Hebrews 2:11)
To those who are orphans, he beckons with outstretched arms.”Come, join my family. My home is your home; my Father is your Father. All that we have is yours. Our love lasts forever – and we share with you an inheritance that cannot be shaken.”

Lord (John 20:28)
Governing with wisdom, grace and justice. Concerned with the needs of every nation, every age, race, gender and individual. The king who is above all kings and whose kingdom spans the earth and the ages – whatever we face.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
    he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

 The Lord Almighty is with us;
   the God of Jacob is our fortress.
